A Visit to London

Diary ----- Wednesday, 8.30 p.m. or as the Germans say 20.30 h: We are leaving Ketsch for our trip to England. It will take us around 9 hours - which is more than a whole night - to travel by bus until we get to Calais in France. There we continue by boat to reach the port of Dover in England. The journey on the Channel is about 90 minutes. It's getting daytime again, while we are on the ferry. Finally we need another 3 hours to get from Dover to our hotel in London. These are almost 15 hours altoghether. - Now everybody certainly understands why we look so awfully tired on these fotos.
